Who We Are

We are talented early-career clergy invigorating our religious communities through creativity, passion, and intelligence. We are redefining what faith looks like in public life. We are recognized moral voices in our neighborhoods. We are authors and broadcasters, we are artists and musicians, we are entrepreneurs and activists.

You should know us.

What We're Doing

The core of the Chicago Commons Project is to have conversations that matter with some of Chicago's most significant leaders.

With them, we do imaginative theological and civic reflection about what ails our common life in this city, where progress is being made, and what dreams we can work on together as community leaders.

Partnerships

The Chicago Commons Project is made possible through the support of the Lilly Endowment, Inc. and the University of Chicago Divinity School. CCP is part of the Lilly Endowment's efforts to vitalize American congregations, their clergy and their communities and is a natural extension of the University of Chicago Divinity School’s long-standing commitment to educate and equip thoughtful, creative and courageous religious leaders whose work enriches the common good.
